Tree of Life UU in McHenry Hosts Top Quality Rummage Sale

Members of the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 West Bull Valley Road in McHenry, Illinois, have assembled a huge, three day Rummage Sale featuring a selection of only high quality and gently used contributions.  After a successful opening today it will continue tomorrow, Friday May 1 and  Saturday, May 2.
According to Judy Stettner, the congregation’s Rummage Sale Queen, “We  feature a remarkable and wide ranging selection including quality furnishings and home décor items, kitchen ware, books, music items, sports and fitness equipment, art and craft items, and very gently used clothing.  We don’t accept or put out damaged, soiled, or worn out apparel.”
The sale will be open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday May 1, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday May 2.  On Saturday all clothing is on sale for $5 a bag and everything else is half off the marked price.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the ministry and work of the congregation and 10% goes to support Compassion4Campers which provides a weekly lunch and needed supplies to the homeless over the summer when the PADS church shelters are closed.
No early birds are allowed.
