Women’s Voices Drive Rattle the Walls Hear Me Roar Concert

In its third presentation Rattle the Walls, the concert series founded by Forrest Ransburg that embraces inclusive programming to raise funds to benefit causes and organizations rooted in social justice, makes an exceptionally timely statement.  The Hear Me Roar Concert presented at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin, 39W830 Highland Avenue in Elgin the Saturday, November 18 from 7:30 to 9 pm, will feature an evening of works by female composers and artists for the Benefit of Planned Parenthood. 

The premier Rattle the Walls was presented last February at the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry to benefit the American Civil Liberties Union to an enthusiastic packed house.  This summer a concert at Center on Halstead in Chicago benefited programming for the transgender community.

As always, the Hear Me Roar Concert will feature enormously talented musicians—singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles—spanning a dizzying variety of genres and styles. These shows are musical adventures unlike anything you have likely seen or heard before.

Also in keeping with the Rattle the Walls philosophy, instead of a set ticket price concert goers are asked to give whatever they can to support Planned Parenthood. All donations go directly to the organization.
