The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist
Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road
in McHenry, will hold its 2019 Live and Silent Auction on Friday, November 8 from 6 to 10 pm.
Although
there are a wide variety of goods, services, gift baskets,
and restaurant packages offered, the
Tree of Life’s annual auction is best known for its many custom gourmet dinner parties, holiday and other occasion theme
parties, a barn concert in a
real barn, and several outdoor
adventures including a kayaking day
trip and shore lunch. Among the items offered will
be at least two Christmas trees
decorated with a wide variety of gift
cards including dining, entertainment, grocery and retail stores,
and gas cards.
This fine wine basket is the prize for a special limited ticket raffle at the Auction.

This year
there is a new special early raffle
of wine basket filled with top
selections donated by wine mavens of
the Tree of Life Choir. Only 200 tickets are being sold.
Ron Relic will be the genial auctioneer and the evening will
be enlivened by live entertainment
Now you
can register
for the Auction early for free on-line, and even make bids on selected items
There
will be supervised activities, dinner, and nursery care available for children. Please RSVP

special concerns such as allergies, sensitivities, and quiet
needs.
Joining a Wisconsin kayaking adventure is just one of the fun opportunities available at the Auction.

A portion
of the proceeds goes to PADS to support their new permanent year-round shelter site in
McHenry which hopes to open later this year.
The
auction is free and open to the public.
