The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, Illinois cordially invites the McHenry County community to celebrate and early Halloween event this Friday, October 27 from 6 to 9 pm.
The festivities start off a 6 with a Trunk or Treat for children of all ages. Members and friends will array their car trunks with appropriate spooky decorations and have lots of goodies to distribute. There will be a vote for the best vehicle.
At 7 pm there will be a dance party with instructions so all can join the annual Dance of the Witches (And Warlocks.) Costumes and brooms are encouraged but not required.
Around 8 pm folks will gather around a campfire. Bring drums, instruments, songs, and stories to share. S’mores fixings will be available.
The event is co-sponsored by the Tree of Life Fellowship and Faith Exploration Committees. It is free and open to the public.
