When I Get to Heaven by John Prine.
Just
last Friday I shared John Prine’s early
career song Don’t Bury Me after he entered the hospital in critical condition with the Coronavirus. I also posted this long blog
entry on his life, career, and his song lyrics as poetry. Yesterday we got the
news that he didn’t make it.
But
take heart! John had plans
for such an eventuality as he
explained on his last studio album, The
Tree of Forgiveness.
John Prine will be missed. Thanks Patrick.
