Tonight is the eighth and final night of the Jewish Festival of Life, Hanukkah. Families gather to light the final candle on the Menorah to commemorate the miraculous lamp in the Holy of Holies in the Temple in Jerusalem for eight days on only enough oil for one. They recount the old tale, pray some, then celebrate with games, songs, special foods, and small gifts.
Six13, a Jewish a cappella group gives the occasion the full boy band treatment with a song based on Shake It Off, originally recorded by Taylor Swift. Why not? She’s everywhere these days.
