Going, Going, Gone!—The Tree of Life UU Auction is Back!

The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, will hold its 2019 Live and Silent Auction on Friday, November 8 from 6 to 10 pm.
Although there are a wide variety of goods, services, gift baskets, and restaurant packages offered, the Tree of Life’s annual auction is best known for its many custom gourmet dinner parties, holiday and other occasion theme parties, a barn concert in a real barn, and several outdoor adventures including a kayaking day trip and shore lunch.  Among the items offered will be at least two Christmas trees decorated with a wide variety of gift cards including dining, entertainment, grocery and retail stores, and gas cards.

This fine wine basket is the prize for a special limited ticket raffle at the Auction.
This year there is a new special early raffle of wine basket filled with top selections donated by wine mavens of the Tree of Life Choir.  Only 200 tickets are being sold.
Ron Relic will be the genial auctioneer and the evening will be enlivened by live entertainment

Now you can register for the Auction early for free on-line, and even make bids on selected items

There will be supervised activities, dinner, and nursery care available for children.  Please RSVP by e-mailing Heather Madaus at  Include children’s names, ages, parent contact information, and any special concerns such as allergies, sensitivities, and quiet needs.
