Tree
of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation,
5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, Illinois will present a unique Night of Music with Forrest and Cassandra
on Friday, May 31 from 7 to 10 pm. The concert had to be
re-scheduled from its original April date postponed
to snow.
Forrest
Ransburg, the Musical Director at Tree of Life, will perform a selection of flute works ranging from the Baroque era on instruments of the time
to modern works involving unexpected sounds generated by a variety of electronic media.
Cassandra
Vohs-Demann, a singer and songwriter
popular in McHenry County venues and
the Director of the Woodstock Community Choir, will
perform a set of her original
compositions and share the personal experiences that inspired them.
Admission
donation for this unique musical event is
$10 at the door and includes appetizers,
deserts and adult beverages.
